Course Description: The Glorious Legacy: Seerah of the Beloved Prophet sallalahualayhiwasallam– Part I

Sayyidina Anas(ra) narrated that a man came to the Prophet (saw) and asked, “When will the Last Hour come, Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet (saw) asked, “What have you prepared for it?”  He replied, “I have not prepared a lot of prayer or fasting or charity for it, but I love Allah and His Messenger.” The Prophet (saw) said, “You will be with the one you love.” (Bukhari)

This course is the first of a two-part series on the life of our beloved Prophet sallalahualayhiwasallam. Based on the earliest sources of seerah, it begins by briefly examining the science of the Prophetic Biography, followed by a detailed historical study of the Meccan period up till the Migration (Hijrah) towards Madinah Munawarrah. We will travel this beautiful journey chronologically, reflecting on the events in our Prophet’s noble life and the lessons contained therein, learning how to embody this Islamic reality as a complete whole in these challenging times. By bringing to life the beauty of the prophetic personality and immersing ourselves in his wisdom, this course seeks to inspire us to develop our own personal relationship with the Beloved of Allah sallalahualayhiwasallam.
